CenterPoint at Linden Receives New Good Neighbor Award
CenterPoint at Linden was awarded a New Good Neighbor Award by New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NBIA) and New Jersey Business Magazine.
The multi-million dollar project transformed a struggling retail space near the Port of Newark-Elizabeth into a 321,765-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility. The project includes sustainable features such as a future solar array and the necessary infrastructure to incorporate EV-charging facilities throughout the car parking areas. By incorporating a double-height office space along the corner of the building, KSS also successfully increased visibility from Route 12.
Not only did the project lead to 120 construction jobs, but CODA has hired 75 full-time employees, a number expected to triple over the next few years. The warehouse is going to be one more of our attractions here in town (delivering) five times the tax rateables that we were accustomed to getting. To me, that’s a win.
