Introducing Architecture Hires

KSS welcomes three architecture professionals to the firm. These dynamic individuals join our Philadelphia and Princeton offices where they collectively support KSS, our staff, and our clients. Read on to learn more about the newest KSSers!

Kai-Ling (Kareen) Chen, Junior Designer
Kai-Ling began her career at KSS through an externship, transitioning into an internship and ultimately a full-time junior designer role. Her work reflects a commitment to clear visual storytelling, contextual sensitivity, and thoughtful material expression. Inspired by travel and local design culture, Kai-Ling enjoys creating spaces that balance performance, beauty, and social impact.

Terevina Tawdroos, Designer
Prior to joining the KSS Princeton office, Terevina’s portfolio included multi-family developments across various scales and phases, as well as high-end airport lounges. Her approach centers on combining creativity with precision to create functional, efficient, and meaningful spaces. She looks forward to exploring how constraints can become opportunities and translating ideas into physical environments that serve a real purpose.

Johnathan Manza, Senior Project Architect AIA, LEED AP BD+C
Johnathan joined the KSS Philadelphia office in spring 2026, bringing several years of experience with a focus on multifamily residential work. Guided by curiosity and craft, he enjoys collaborating through each project phase and values the shared problem-solving that shapes thoughtful, well-executed architecture. Outside of work, he is an avid runner who often passes projects he has helped bring to life, finding calm and inspiration in Philadelphia’s historic and contemporary streetscapes.
